LEGAL OUR COMMITMENT TO EVERY VISITOR
Accessibility & ADA Compliance

Our commitment
Mach 1 Design, Inc. is committed to ensuring that mach1design.com is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility isn’t just a service we offer clients — it’s how we build, including this website. We believe every visitor should be able to find, understand, and use the information and services on this Site regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Standards we follow
We design and maintain the Site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our standard — the widely accepted benchmark referenced in ADA-related web accessibility guidance. Conformance to these guidelines makes web content more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
What we’ve done
Accessibility measures built into this Site include:
- Semantic page structure with proper headings, landmarks, and labels for screen readers
- Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images, including case study graphics
- Color contrast designed to meet WCAG AA ratios for text and interactive elements
- Full keyboard navigability, with visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels and clear error handling
- Reduced-motion support — animations are disabled for users whose devices request it
- Responsive design that supports zoom and reflows cleanly on any screen size
- Readable font sizes and line spacing throughout
Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the Site as content is added and updated, test with keyboard navigation and assistive technology, and address issues as they’re identified. When we publish new pages, accessibility is part of the build process — not a patch afterward.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible — for example, certain third-party embedded content (such as forms, maps, or videos hosted by outside providers) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA, as we don’t control their code. We work to choose accessible providers and to remediate or provide alternatives where issues are found.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and common assistive technologies, including screen readers and speech recognition software. It performs best on browsers released within the last few years.
Tell us if something isn’t working
If you experience any difficulty accessing part of this Site, encounter a barrier, or have suggestions for improvement, we genuinely want to hear from you — and we’ll work to fix the issue or provide the information you need in an alternative format.
